Purpose

This COVID-19 Safety Martial Arts Instructor, Practitioner and Parent Certification program ensures that instructors, practitioners and parents are aware of the most up to date information on the cause of the spread or infection of the COVID 19 virus. It identifies and empowers those enlightened and certified to take the appropriate safety measures when conducting or practicing their respective training in their classes..

Who should Join

This course has been specially designed for 3 specific categories of persons:

  • Martial Art Instructors (of any system);

  • Martial Art practitioners;

  • Parents of Martial Art practitioners.


Learning outcome

Martial arts Instructors Practitioners (and Parents) that challenge themselves to take and pass this course will understand the safety issues, dangers and concerns about the COVID-19 virus. More importantly, they will be able to take specific, globally accepted and appropriate measures to conduct or train in martial arts classes (dojang/dojo) in a safe and healthy environment.

In this course you will understand (and be tested on) :

1.    The background about the COVID-19 virus;

2.    How it is spread;

3.    Is impact on people and their health;

4.    General do’s and don’ts;

5.    Specific advice about dojang or dojo (training center) safety;

6.    What you should do to be part of a holistic care and prevention system with regards to martial art class training to maximize your own and others safety.
